We Love Learning on and off the Water!

Our mission is to inspire young people to unleash their potential through experiential, environmental education under sail to students of all ages and backgrounds. This mission continues both during construction and after completion sailing the SF Bay, West Coast and Ocean expeditions. The vision is to empower generations of students to become environmental stewards and transform their world through sailing.

Building a tall ship is part of our greater goal of providing experiential learning experiences to youth. Call of the Sea is currently serving 6,000 students per year on Seaward. Matthew Turner will allow 12,000 additional students per year to experience the powerful on-the-water programs where students experienced and learn seamanship, maritime history, marine ecology, teamwork, leadership and stewardship on day, overnight and ocean expeditions.

Our goal is raise $50,000 through donations.

Currently we are needing to fund the systems that make the ship go and keep Matthew Turner on course. Funds raised through this campaign will go towards designing and building a rudder and steering system which will cost $50,000.

Please donate at whatever level you are comfortable with giving. While our project will take quite a bit to be fully complete we can achieve milestones with your support. Donate today! Checkout the website below by clicking on the image for further details:
