Call of the Sea is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people to the sea through the unique hands-on experience of sailing our schooner SEAWARD.Call of the Sea News
Schooner SEAWARD had a busy season in 2009. More than 3,300 young people sailed aboard Schooner SEAWARD, coming from elementary, middle, and high schools, community and youth groups over Northern California, including many underserved youth from East Bay, San Francisco, and Marin communities.

Bay Explorations
Our three hour program, Bay Explorations, gives students a rich, hands-on experience aboard a classic schooner, as
they learn about coastal history; practice navigation and seamanship. More...Voyage Seaward

To augment our core educational programs, Call of the Sea offers special events, public sails, adult sail training and private charters. Sail - Support our mission by sailing on a Public Sail, special event or booking a private charter.Donate - We rely on donations to support scholarship programs as well as a portion of the costs needed to successfully devote a vessel to educational purposes.

Volunteer
