Board Chair John Racanelli has announced the election of Jerry Fiddler to Call of the Sea’s Board of Directors. An entrepreneur, sailor and photographer, Jerry Fiddler founded Wind River Systems in 1981. He currently is Chairman of Solazyme, a developer of algae biofuel technology. In making the announcement, John Racanelli said, “Jerry already knows Call of the Sea well. He brings a passion for our mission, a no-nonsense enthusiasm, and hands-on experience in developing young organizations. We’re delighted that he has agreed to join Call of the Sea’s Board.”
