Late News: Explore the Delta aboard Seaward

When: the weekend of November 14-15. Cruise down the Sacramento River aboard Schooner Seaward from Sacramento to Oakland.  This is a trip for adults and families with teens (14 and over). We’ll take two days comfortably exploring the Delta, through winding waterways, past historic river towns and Suisun Bay's mothball fleet, and back to your starting point at Jack London Square.

On Saturday night we’ll be moored at the community of Walnut Grove, a short walk from the historic Chinese village of Locke.

Logistics are easy: take Amtrak from Jack London Square in Oakland (inexpensive parking) to Sacramento, and walk directly from the Sacramento station to the schooner.
