Sponsoring Partner – Golden Gate Tall Ships Society

The Golden Gate Tall Ships Society has a broad mission in support of the value of “Tall Ship” experiences in the Bay Area. A particular goal is to encourage youth sail training, and Call of the Sea could hardly agree more!

One of the Society’s key activities is helping to sponsor sailing experiences for young people. GGTS provides scholarships to deserving students, enabling them to “Voyage Seaward” with Call of the Sea. GGTS also provides scholarship support to groups such as the Marin City “Bridge the Gap” tutoring program, giving students from all backgrounds a hands-on connection with San Francisco Bay.
