Ocean Experience aboard schooner Seaward - August 24-29, 2008

Voyage from San Diego to San Francisco Bay
for adult sailors

Cost: $750

During this 6-day/5-night sea-going adventure, under the guidance of a professional captain and crew, participants will have the opportunity to be part of the workings of a schooner under sail and passagemaking along the California coast. Participants will board in San Diego during the Tall Ships Festival and then sail north along the coast, learning the seamanship, weather, and navigation necessary to make a coastwise passage. Possible stops (dependent on weather) may include the Channel Islands, Morro Bay, and/or Monterey Bay. Participants will disembark in San Francisco Bay in the late afternoon of August 29 (in San Francisco and Berkeley).
