During this 5-day/4-night sea-going adventure, under the guidance of a professional captain and crew, participants will have the opportunity to be part of the workings of a schooner under sail and passagemaking along the Northern California coast.  Participants will board Seaward at the Bay Model, Sausalito and head out the Golden Gate along the coast, learning the seamanship, weather, and navigation necessary to make a coastwise passage.  Intended port stops (dependent on weather) will be Drake's Bay (Pt. Reyes), Bodega Bay, the Farallon Islands, and possibly Monterey Bay.  There will be opportunities to explore ashore and see the coast in a unique way, as well as a night-time passage for those who wish to participate in that experience.  Boarding at 9 a.m. on Mon., July 20 and disembarking at noon on Friday, July 24.  all meals and lodging included from Monday lunch through Friday breakfast.  Free parking provided.  Please call with any questions or to sign up.
