Summer and Fall 2008 - Public Sail Schedule

Adventure Sails, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Spend a Saturday morning cruising around San Francisco Bay. Help the crew raise the sails or just sit back and enjoy the ride. A light lunch and beverages will be provided.
Adults: $45 | Children (12 & under): $25 | Children (3 & under): Free

Sunset Sails,  6 to 8:30pm
Watch the sunset from the deck of our 82' schooner, "Seaward".  Snacks and beverages provided.  Don't forget your sweater.

Farallon Islands Sails
Join us for a full day adventure out to the Farallon Islands. See the marine wildlife the islands are famous for and get a taste of what its like to sail away from land during the 52 mile journey to the islands and back to the golden gate. Dates and prices will be posted as sails are scheduled.
September 14

Educator Outreach Sail, 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Calling all Educators (and a few of your friends)!  Join us for some wine and cheese, a two hour sail around the Bay, and learn about our Bay Explorations program.  Bay Explorations aligns with fourth and fifth grade curriculum in social studies and science.  We will also descibe Custom Educational programs.
Free for educators, $20 for non-educators.
September 25

Blue Angels Practice Sail, 2 to 5pm
Watch the Blue Angels practice their maneuvers, or help steer the boat and practice your maneuvers.  Snacks and beverages provided.
October 10

Girl Scout Sails
Two 3 hour sails per day. Learn the ways of the Bay by sailing on the beautiful tall ship Seaward. The captain and crew will show you how to run this great sailing ship, while building your knowledge of the history and navigation of the Bay. Learn how to serve the Bay by sailing on it. Earn the Girl Scout Council's own award: Girl Scouts Save the Bay's "In the Wind" badge or Interest Project.
